Born in Delft, The Netherlands, on July 12, 1921. Died 2 may 2012 Saint-Trond.
In 1939 he gets his first one-man exhibit at the Bennewitz Gallery, Den Haag.
During the second world war he studies at the Academy of Fine Art, Den Haag.
1951 - Delft, The Netherlands, Lambert Van Meerten Museum, one-man show.
1959 - Palace of Fine Arts, Brussels.
1962 - Museum of Modern Art, Brussels, acquisition.
- Sundsvall Museum, Sweden.
1964 - Palace of Fine Arts, Brussels, 24 big formats.
- Guggenheim Prize, New York, participation.
1965 - wins the "Prize of the Belgian Critic", 1963-64.
1969 - takes the Belgian nationality.
- "Europa Prize", Oostende, winner.
1970 - "Venice Biannual", Venice, Italy, participation.
- Luchino Visconti acquires his canvas "Noir-Blue"
1973 - Palace of Fine Arts, Brussels, work from 1968-73.
1981 - "Veranneman Foundation" organizes a retrospective show (1950-81), at the Casino in Knokke, Belgium.
- Museum of Modern Art, Gent, Belgium, retrospective (1950-83).
- "Prinsenhof" Museum, Delft, retrospective (1950-83)
1986 - FIAC, Paris, France.
1987 - "The Royal Academy of Belgium" awards him the "Jules Raeymakers Prize".
1988 - "LINEART", the International Contemporary Art Fair, Gent, every single painting sells.
1990 - first US "one-man" show in New York.

- "BIAF" Art Fair, Barcelona, Spain, Aquagravures.
- Nice Art Fair, Nice, France.
- Realization of the film "Bram Bogart, windows of the light".
1991 - 2 showings at the FIAC, Paris, France.
- Participates at "The Memory of Freedom" for the Universal Declaration of the Human Rights.
- "Georges Pompidou Center for the Arts", Paris, France, one-man show. Received at the "Elysee" by Mrs. Mitterrand.
1992 - Realization of the film "Bram Bogart".
- Cultural Center, Brussels, retrospective "Bram Bogart".
1993 - Participates with 14 paintings from 1951-61 at the International Exhibit , "Masters of Matter" at the Museum of 's Hertogenbosch, The Netherlands.
1994 - Museum of Modern Art "PMMK", Oostende, Belgium.
- Museum "Les Cordeliers", Chateauroux, France.
- Two public sculptures (each about 16 yards) in front of the VSB Bank, Utrecht, The Netherlands.
1995 - January, Museum "Les Cordeliers", Chateauroux, France, a huge exhibit with Bengt Lindstrom.
- June-September, Museum of Modern Art "PMMK", Oostende, Belgium, biggest exhibit ever dedicated to Bram Bogart.
1996 - One man shows at the International Art Fairs of Frankfurt, Cannes and Cologne.
- Museum Pinacoteca do Estado a Sao Paolo, Brazil.
- One man show at "FIAC", Paris, France.
